Thai Question Words:

Thai has words that are equivalent to who, what, when, where, why, etc. The dialog for this chapter uses one of them, the word อะไร (à-rai), which means what. Just as in English, you answer by supplying the information asked about.

คุณ ชื่อ อะไร คะ
What's your name?
ผม ชื่อ สมชาย ครับ
My name is Somchai.

Learning to Ask Questions

The next few drill exercises will give you practice asking and answering question using the word อะไร.
