แล้ว + pronoun + ละ is used to ask a question that refers to a topic that is already known. To practice, switch the pronoun as shown.

It's important to note that léow kune lá means and what about you?, but we interpret the meaning as and how are you?, because in this exchange it refers to the previous question where the person asked how you are doing.
